João Camilo joined Eversheds Sutherland in 2016 as a Trainee Lawyer, becoming an Associate Lawyer in 2018. He works in the Employment, Benefits and Pensions Department.

João provides advice to the human resources departments of medium and large-sized national and international enterprises, performing employment due diligences and assisting with the implementation of internal policies regarding compensation and benefits. He also advocates for clients in litigation processes.

Participates in several restructuring processes, advising on the acquisition and sale of companies and business areas, in the labour area.

João also contributes actively to in the planning and execution of collective and individual redundancies, as well as in advising in disciplinary procedures.

He also provides assistance in the area of social security.
